you will find that this "re-newed zeal" will be short-lived... the Isreali/Palestanian conflict is nothing new and neither is the Ukraine/Russia situation... This will all fizzle out before the end of the year and JWs will find something else to keep their hopes up... Same old cycle every 12 years or so... yawn....

Either way, I'm glad it received good coverage. The Watchtower loves to throw stones at the Catholic church but they are just as bad or worse...

as a former elder, i know that there was always friction with the c.o.
(funny.... sounds like "commanding officer, doesn't it?).
anyhow, i do wonder how much 'submission' or toadying many of these "men" can endure now that circuit overseers have been given absolute power.
With this extra authority given to COs, I'm sure many COs will now begin leveraging for thicker envelopes at the end of each congo visit.

I love it when the Witch Tower over-hypes things (like "special announcements", dirty-30 campaigns, etc.)... it invariably ends up fizzling out to a sad and pathetic death...
